PassQ

About PassQ

Built by the people who lived the problem.

We ran a teaching agency for seven years. Now we're building the tools we wished we'd had.

Our Story

From agency owners to agency enablers.

For seven years, Dan, Garry, Mike, and Paul ran an education recruitment agency. We placed supply teachers into schools across the UK, chased references by hand, and dealt with the same broken processes every other agency faces.

We saw first-hand how the system fails both sides. Agencies waste hours chasing references that never come back. Schools get buried in requests they don't have time for. Teachers are stuck in the middle, waiting.

Mike, a former teacher himself, understood the school side of the desk. The rest of us knew the agency side inside out. Together, we'd seen the full picture — and we knew it could be better.

We went from being the people making the calls to building the platform that makes them for you. Poacher turned gamekeeper.

PassQ is what came out of that experience. We built it to solve the problems we couldn't fix from inside an agency — automated outreach that actually works, safeguarding checks that don't slip through the cracks, and a reference process that respects everyone's time.

Today we power agencies we used to compete with. We know what they need because we needed it too.
